THE ROLE
We have a rewarding opportunity for a qualified Veterinary Nurse to join our Mangere Centre. This is a permanent, full-time role where you’ll have a mostly regular Monday to Friday roster, with just a couple of weekend shifts a month.
Working for us means you are putting your skills and experience where it is needed most, caring for Auckland’s most vulnerable animals.
You will –
- Provide expertise, care and support to a variety of animals (domestic, un-socialised, and wildlife).
- Assist vets with surgeries and treatments and use your clinical skills in a high-volume surgical environment.
- Assist with animal welfare investigations.
- Work alongside vets, animal attendants, foster carers and volunteers, who are all hands on, supportive and purpose driven humans.
ABOUT YOU
You’re a calm, confident, and compassionate Veterinary Nurse who thrives in a dynamic team.
Skills & experience:
- A recognised Veterinary Nursing qualification.
- Experience in a clinical setting.
- Strong organisational, communication and multitasking skills.
- Commitment to high standards of animal care, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
