- Managing incoming welfare complaints
- Supporting field staff in real time
- Keeping communication clear and fast across teams

ABOUT THE ROLE 🐾
We’re looking for a Dispatch Coordinator to join our Animal Services team.
- 12 months fixed term, Full time
- Monday–Friday, 8.30 am–5.00 pm (with flexibility to support a 7-day roster)
- Remote + 2 days at your local SPCA Centre
In this role, you’ll be the operational heartbeat of our frontline services, making sure animals in need get help quickly and compassionately.
You will:
- Triage and process animal welfare calls from our external contact centre
- Provide timely support and respond to public enquiries via phone and email.
- Keep data accurate and case info up to date in our systems
- Support inspectors and field staff so animals receive fast, effective help
- Maintain trust and high standards of customer service in every interaction

ABOUT YOU 🐾
You thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced service environment and pride yourself on being calm, professional, and compassionate. You’re an animal advocate, passionate about animal welfare, care, and education, and you love supporting both people and animals.
You’ll bring:
- Experience in high-volume, fast-paced service environments
- Confidence handling sensitive information and high-emotion situations
- Experience in dispatch, coordination, or administrative support roles
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office + CRM/data systems, with great accuracy
- Excellent organisation and multitasking skills
- Clear, confident written and verbal communication
