Job Description

About the role 
•    Permanent full-time role 
•    Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week
•    SPCA Auckland (Hobsonville) Centre


Your enthusiasm and dedication will see you: 
•    Provide excellent, timely and warm care to our supporters via phone, email, and mail.
•    Manage inbound supporter enquires and donations
•    Complete reactivation sales calls to encourage donors to restart regular gifts
•    Complete upgrade sales calls to encourage supporters to increase their regular donations
•    Manage donor records and process donations, with accuracy and care to details
•    Managing financial transactions and cash handling accurately and in-line with cash handling practices


What we need from you: 
•    Proven track record in calling customers targeted by the organization for campaigns.
•    Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a polished phone demeanour. 
•    Demonstrated expertise in accurate data entry. 
•    Sound computer skills, experience with CRM systems (e.g. Raiser’s Edge) would be beneficial. 
•    Strong Microsoft Office skills essential (particularly Excel and Outlook). 
•    Professional and approachable demeanour, exhibiting kindness, friendliness, and openness. 
•    Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, managing priorities under pressure.
•    Collaborative team player, capable of working seamlessly with all SPCA staff. 
•    Flexible regarding work hours, including availability for early evening shifts on some days (with the option for adjusted hours during the regular workday).
