ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a permanent part-time position, working 13.5 hours per week across Fridays and Sundays. In this role, you’ll help ensure animals in our care receive the highest standard of treatment, support clinical operations, and work directly with owners to promote the well-being of their pets.

What you’ll do:
•    Deliver compassionate and professional veterinary nursing care to animals in our shelter.
•    Ensure all clinical interventions are carried out safely for both animals and staff.
•    Support surgical procedures, including preparing instruments and maintaining sterile environments.
•    Provide enrichment, behaviour support, and socialisation to improve animal well-being.
•    Educate animal owners on welfare practices and responsible pet care.

 

ABOUT YOU
You’re a skilled and experienced vet nurse who thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. You're self-motivated, compassionate, and committed to making a difference for animals every day.

What you’ll bring:
•    Veterinary nursing qualification and proven clinical experience.
•    Excellent communication and time-management skills.
•    Confidence to work both independently and as part of a dedicated team.
•    The ability to think on your feet, multi-task, and manage a busy workload.
•    Empathy, resilience, and a genuine passion for animal welfare.
