About the role
- Permanent role
- 30 hours
- Wednesday-Friday 8:45am – 5:15pm & Saturday 8.45am – 3:15pm
- SPCA Op Shop Gore
Your enthusiasm and dedication will see you
- Be responsible for the leadership of our dedicated volunteer team, customer service and daily retail operations
- Be passionate about online selling and service to create a seamless customer journey.
- Have a high standard of customer service, online sales, stock management, visual merchandising and general administration
- Have strong merchant skills
- Have the ability to visual merchandise and present a retail shop to a high standard with the customer experience paramount in decision making
- Have the ability to accept and process donations in a timely manner
- Ensure stock quality and pricing aligns with the National Guide
What we need from you
- Have Retail leadership experience, second hand retail experience would be an advantage, however not essential
- Have excellent communication and customer service skills
- Have proven ability to recruit, train, coach and lead a high performing team
- Be a self-motivated team player, who is enthusiastic and passionate about animal welfare
- You will have good attention to detail
- Demonstrate empathy and resilience
- Excellent organizational skills and be able to prioritize and effectively manage workloads
- Strong administration, computer skills and visual merchandising experience
