ABOUT THE ROLE

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic leader to join our team as the Op Shop Manager at our Henderson Op Shop. This full-time, permanent position is a 40-hour per week role, where you will play a key part in the success of our Op Shop.

What you’ll do:

• Lead our dedicated volunteer team to deliver exceptional customer service and retail operations.
• Recruit, train, and support volunteers to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Process donations efficiently and maintain the flow of goods.
• Use social media to engage with and grow our local community presence.
• Provide leadership with a focus on team success and a customer-first approach.
• Ensure our retail store meets high standards of visual merchandising, stock quality, and pricing in line with SPCA guidelines.

ABOUT YOU
You are a skilled retail leader with a passion for animal welfare. You thrive in a dynamic environment, lead by example, and take pride in providing an exceptional shopping experience while managing a dedicated volunteer team.

What you’ll bring:

• Have Retail leadership experience, second hand retail experience would be an advantage.
• Strong visual merchandising and shop presentation skills.
• Have proven ability to recruit, train, coach and lead a high performing team.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and POS systems.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
