ABOUT THE ROLE
We have an exciting opportunity for a Leader to join our Remuera Op Shop as an Op Shop Manager. This full-time, permanent role is Monday to Thursday 8.45am-5.15pm and Sunday 9.45am-4.15pm 

What you’ll do:

  • Lead our dedicated volunteer team to deliver exceptional customer service and retail operations.
  • Recruit, train, and support volunteers to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Process donations efficiently and maintain the flow of goods.
  • Use social media to engage with and grow our local community presence.
  • Provide leadership with a focus on team success and a customer-first approach.
  • Ensure our retail store meets high standards of visual merchandising, stock quality, and pricing in line with SPCA guidelines.

ABOUT YOU
You are a skilled retail leader with a passion for animal welfare. You thrive in a dynamic environment, lead by example, and take pride in providing an exceptional shopping experience while managing a dedicated volunteer team.

What you’ll bring:

  • Minimum of 2 years of retail leadership experience.
  • Experience in preloved, vintage, or second-hand fashion retail is a plus.
  • Strong visual merchandising and shop presentation skills.
  • Experience recruiting, training, and managing volunteers.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and POS systems.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
