About the role

- Monday to Friday 08.00am to 05.00pm
- SPCA Centre Auckland, Mangere

What we need from you:
- Proven leadership experience, ideally in animal welfare, nonprofit, or community-focused environments, with a track record of driving change and improving outcomes.
- Strong strategic and operational management skills to oversee and enhance daily shelter operations effectively.
- Excellent people management abilities, including experience in training, developing, and motivating staff and volunteers.
- Financial acumen to manage budgets, optimize resources, and ensure cost-effective operations.
- Strong communication and community engagement skills to represent the SPCA and build lasting relationships with stakeholders, partners, and the public.
- A commitment to animal welfare standards, ensuring best practices in care, health, and safety are consistently maintained.
